Terms
Draft — not reviewed by a lawyer. The commitments below are real and deliberate, but the wording has not been checked by anyone qualified. Have a solicitor review it before it goes live.
What we do
We audit your existing website, build a replacement when you want one, host it, and keep it accurate. The build is quoted once, by scope. Hosting and ongoing changes are a flat monthly fee, agreed before any work starts.
The commitments
- Month to month
- After launch there is no minimum term. Cancel any time and you are billed through the end of the current month, not beyond it.
- The domain is yours
- Registered in your name, with you as the legal owner, from the day it is bought. If we register it on your behalf we transfer control to you on request, at no charge, whether or not you are leaving.
- Your site is never hostage
- Ask at any time and we hand over the finished site as ordinary files you can host anywhere, along with your own images and a plain guide to putting it online — free of charge once you have been with us six months, and for a flat fee before that. There is no notice period either way. If you would rather we moved it for you, that is optional hands-on work at a flat rate quoted in advance.
- Prices only move in your favor
- If we change our pricing, existing customers receive whichever is better — their original terms or the new ones. We do not raise the rate on an existing customer for the same service.
- A failed payment is a phone call
- If a card is declined we contact you and give you a reasonable chance to sort it out. We do not take a working site offline over a billing problem.
What we ask of you
That the information you give us to publish is accurate and yours to publish — your hours, prices, services, photographs, and any logo or trading name. We will not publish a claim about your business that you have not told us is true, and we ask that you do not ask us to.
What we do not promise
We do not promise a search ranking, a number of calls, or an amount of revenue. Anyone who does is guessing. We promise a site that loads properly, works on a phone, and says what you actually do.
Content you supply
Anything you give us stays yours. We use it only to build and run your site.
Ending the arrangement
Either of us can end it with notice. On the way out you keep the domain, you get the export described above, and we delete what we hold beyond what tax and accounting rules require us to keep.
